When I was approached by my friend Kelly to shoot a 28 person session the first thing that entered my mind was HOLY COW!!!! I have never done a session with that many people before, and so many things entered my mind. With a good pre session consultation and the organization of Kelly prior to our session, it was one of the fastest family sessions I have ever done! The session was held at a family members property and it was just perfect for what they wanted. It was hot, but everyone was in a great mood and very cooperative….even the little kiddos did wonderfully! We were able to get the main shot done first with the main focus being the grandparents front and center, their 4 children, and their grandchildren and their families! I managed to snap a few others of individual families as well that night. Thank you to Kelly for helping me organize this event and I hope you will enjoy these wonderful images of your entire family!
Amador County Family Photographer {Family Reunion}
August 1st, 2011Amador County Newborn Photographer {Juliana…the true miracle baby!}
July 15th, 2011Months ago I was approached by Krystal to shoot both her maternity and newborn photos for her. We never got to her maternity session because little miss decided to come a whopping 12 weeks early! Juliana Marie was born via emergency c-section on April 3, 2011 weighing just 2lbs 4oz! It is a true miracle that she is here today and what a little fighter she has been up until now! Juliana now 3 months old, is technically only supposed to be approximately 2 weeks old. Finally today, we were able to shoot her newborn images and her stubbornness and unwillingness to fall asleep posed as quite a challenge for us! But just as I had thought, we prevailed! I have been waiting and waiting for Juliana’s newborn session just so that I could use this raspberry hat that I bought while on vacation in Monterey! Thank you to Krystal and family for spending your morning waiting out the storm so to speak so that I could get the “perfect” shot! I feel so lucky to have been a part of this special time in her life and am so happy that Juliana is thriving and doing so well. Hope you love your sneak peek!

Thank you to Tammy from A Creative Touch by Tammy, for designing such a cute little 1 year cake smashing outfit. I’m so happy to have met you and just LOVE your whole family! Amador County Baby Photographer { Tempe turns 1!!}
June 15th, 2011All I can say is that it doesn’t get any cuter than this little girl! Tempe turns 1 on July 8th and today we had such an amazing time during her photo shoot. She is the most fun loving little dancing machine! She caught me off guard when she got up and ran off during our session, giggling and laughing. Most 11 month olds are not at all close to walking but not her! I was so happy that I got to work with her and her parents. This little family has so much style and I had to break out this amazing little outfit that my friend Tammy at A Creative Touch By Tammy made. It fit her personality perfectly. Thank you to the “S” family for spending your afternoon with me. It was truly a pleasure meeting you and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Amador County Baby Photographer {Cabry turns 1!!}
June 14th, 2011I loved this little girl! She was so fun and only cried 1 time at the very end. Her parents are friends with the owners of Vino Noceto winery in Plymouth and we were fortunate enough to be able to shoot on their grounds. She was so happy and we had so much fun laughing at her little faces and noises she made while eating her first cake! Thank you to the “D” family for spending your afternoon with me. I enjoyed meeting you all!
Amador County Wedding Photographer {Heather and Eric}
June 13th, 2011It is so much fun when I get to step outside the box and my norm of chasing kiddos and have the opportunity to shoot a beautiful love story unfolding before the camera. Friday evening was spent in Shenandoah Valley in the middle of a 30 acre private vineyard with Heather and Eric. The whole night was so intimate with only 17 of their closest family and friends to witness such an emotional and beautiful event. I could barley hold back tears when they said their vows, shared their first dance and even the dances with the father and mother brought me to tears. Thank you Vince from Indigo Sky Photography for bringing me along to capture such an amazing couple. Here are just a few of the shots from the night.
Amador County Newborn Photographer {Drayden 8 days old}
May 22nd, 2011Drayden was born on Friday the 13th and was 8 days old when I got to see him this morning. I wanted to die when I saw all of his long dark hair! He wasn’t too thrilled with getting his picture taken and I had to be more patient then ever to get some shots for mama today! After several hours of him fussing, he finally gave up and I was able to capture some beautiful shots of this sweet little boy. Thank you to his mom and autie for hangin’ in there with me today. I hope you like your sneak peek.
Folsom Newborn Photographer {8 day old Lucy}
April 30th, 2011Lucy was born weighing in at 7lbs 3oz, and is the most precious little angel on earth! She is perfect in every way. Her skin is flawless, her lips are full and she is so cuddly and soft. I spent the morning with her and her beautiful mom and grandma this morning and enjoyed every minute. She was a breeze and did quite well and when she was done with me photographing her, she let us know about it! LOL. Thank you to Christina for letting me invade your home this morning, I hope you like your sneak peek and I look forward to photographing more of your beautiful family in the future.
El Dorado Hills Family Photographer {The beautiful “S” Family}
April 15th, 2011Today was a beautiful morning, with a beautiful family, in a beautiful setting. Nestle amongst the El Dorado Hills, lives the “S” family in an amazing home with a fantastic view. When I arrived this morning, A.J. was racing around on his hot-wheels tricycle through the house, Mom was frantically trying to finish getting ready and their dog Max became my new best friend! We spent a little over an hour on their property and in their home trying to get that “perfect” family shot. Being a mom myself, I know how important that one image is and we go to great lengths to get it, however, we come to realize that the best laid out plans NEVER work according to plan! A.J. being a typical 3 year old, wanted nothing to do with the camera this morning so we pulled out all the stops. Bribery, chocolate, tales of dragons that lived in my camera….you name it, we did it! Even with all the “craziness”, as mom called it, I think we got some amazing shots of this adorable little family. Thank you all for welcoming me in your home and for hangin’ in there with me. I hope you like your sneak peek and I hope that mom got some well deserved rest this afternoon
